my vanishing
In September 2014 I had a very silly very slight fall raped the inner nerve known as the median nerve on both Arms which meant that I could know the stand no use my arms as a support . I was taken to various hospitals and for 8 weeks received no treatment whatsoever I then had minimal Physiotherapy and was told that I would never walk again
First reaction was cobblers secondary action was putting a complaint . I've spent a long time complaining having a complaint rejected having the Physiotherapy withdrawn on the 22nd of December 2 days before my eldest daughter died suddenly which left 2015 as being a completely bad year
After licking my wounds I got up started the fight over again tuck consultation for a private physiotherapist who told me there is a specialist group called Hobbs rehabilitation who put jockeys and rugby players back together from a heap of Bones and I had a report done by Hobbs Physiotherapists that said I needed 5 weeks work that would cost £20,000 I haven't got
I did think about getting out of begging bowl but realised that I'd probably have the bowl nicked . So I took the gloves off and decided that fighting to the Queensbury rules against the NHS would b as much good as thumping custard so in a bare-knuckle fight against one of the local trusts they have after putting several hurdles in my way decided that as I can't walk I need 5 weeks intensive Physiotherapy and they are seriously looking at the funding the £20,000 because of this I don't wish to go into too much detail now but I promise you if I succeed I will let you all know the long story the very long story

Re: my vanishing
Hi Rob,firstly how sad it is to hear of the loss of your daughter,I have often thought what a shock it must be to outlive one of your children.I hope your health does improve and as regards to your fight with the NHS after seeing you doing the trip to the Liverpool meet-up with your limited mobility I'm sure that you will be strong enough in your battle to get justice.
Good Luck.

Re: my vanishing
Hi Rob.
I am so sorry to hear of your sad loss of your daughter, it must have been devastating.
Thanks for the PM.
You should not have to fight for your treatment, it is a NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE, you have paid into that system ever since you left school and started working. Every treatment should be your Right to receive without having to beg for it, no matter what the cost is.
Maybe your MP could assist with this problem , That is what they are there for. Try him.
It is disgraceful that you have to do this. All treatment costs money so why are they penny pinching. I go to my local hospital quite regularly and all I see is migrants flooding in, Never paid one penny into the NHS and getting Free Treatment. It is wrong.
The Treatment for the people who have worked and paid all those years should be without question, no matter what the cost.
I will phone my son tomorrow and see if he has any ideas, but if it is not in his area he cannot do much .
All the best.
Thinking of you .
Cheers
Brian

Re: my vanishing
As I don't know much about the System (NHS) there, all I can say is that I think Capt is correct in all he says!
Why pay privately when you have contributed all the Years to your System!(Even so sponsored by whoever)
Over here as a Pensioner I have received all my treatments and Operations Totally without Cost, not one cent!
And we here do not pay such as you there into an NHS!
Hopefully and as said something can and will be done for you and Soooooooon! Rob!
Cheers

Re: my vanishing
The particular trust is a different one to the one that runs the Queen Alexandra Hospital . I exposed a couple of their practices which is a embarrassment . This is why that particular Trust is looking at funding £20,000 worth of private medicine . Until it is all happened I don't want to say too much but believe me it has been a battle . If the finance is forthcoming I'll explain a lot more about it .

Re: my vanishing
That is always the iron hand that can lie beneath the velvet glove . Two local trusts have had very bad publicity for their chief executives in the case of Portsmouth hospitals NHS Trust the chief executive resigned. Southern Health NHS Trust has had some serious problems with their systems their current chief executive is still in place but the local press or not NHS Trust friendly at the moment . I cannot speak for Bolton but if you go to the Queen Alexander hospital and I'm sure Brian is well familiar with it you will find a large amount of immigrants and a large amount of locals the immigrants are called Nurse orderly Porter and Dr the locals are called drunk and addict . Without the immigrants from the Philippines Bangladesh and Europe local hospitals would be totally screwed but why are they treating people with self-inflicted overdoses I do not know I would have a large cooler and fling them in it until they came down back to this planet
