Re: my vanishing
Rob please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your daughter. I know what you have been going through and still are as I lost my son many years ago. All I can say is that it does get easier. Regarding fighting the NHS they seem to close ranks when somebody comes up against them. Have you thought of employing the services of a no win no fee Lawyer who specialises in dealing with the NHS.
Best regards
John C

Re: my vanishing
Dear Rob, I had hoped that your health issues had improved, truly sorry to learn that you seem no further forward and are having to fight your cause, an appalling situation to find yourself in. As Brian suggests perhaps if you have not already done so your local MP could surely take your case on board. Trust your GP at least has taken an active role on your behalf.
My heartfelt sympathy to you Rob on the death of your eldest daughter, as a parent this is the worst kind of pain of all. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Marian

Re: my vanishing
The no win no fee guys will only take a case on when they're 80% sure of getting a result in this case you are contrasting one medical opinion against another and at the moment I've got the best medical opinion everything is going fine it's just that it takes time when you see a consultant it takes about a fortnight to get the letter from them after it's gone to typing which means that they made initial offer 2 months ago and were still pursuing it . This is why I am not making a comment on a public site until it is signed sealed and delivered . The ambulance chasing lawyers I doubt would be able to get the achievement without an awful lot of medical knowledge but they don't have and would cost a fortune to buy in which they wouldn't be about expending the money it is all going well at the moment but I am one of these people that despite being optimistic still like it signed and delivered the whole argument and now gone on almost 20 months but I have learnt a lot along the way and the result has got stronger

Re: my vanishing
Rob, missed your posts and am always reminded of the happy years we lived in not too distant South Harting. You have had a rough time and and our best wishes for a vast improvement from now on. Condolences too and may you find solace in memories of happier days.
As you say, legal sharks could have your guts for garters.
Again, all the best,

A mate of mine had an 18 month waiting list for a heart By Pass in Manchester Hospital, I contacted the Dreadnought and two days later he had his operation at Guys Hospital. He had been ashore for over 30 years.
