#41,42, Doc & Richard, Just waiting for results of last sample. As long as I don't pick up any other virus the op should not be delayed too long as I apparently have an eight week window as Doctor advises that the percentage is high [95%] that tumour is not benign. Apart from no energy an an itchy torso I'm fine and being well looked after.

Hi Marian, As I've been away for a while I didn't know that you had been unwell, and because you are on my profile as a friend I could see you were posting and I
thought everything was ok. When I saw your post on sepsis today I read it right from the start and now I understand what you are up against, like Corporal Jones I am always a pace behind the others. I am sad to see you in so much discomfort and can only hope you feel better every day, you are a very popular lady and are highly regarded by your huge extended family on this site and we are all rooting for you, "GET WELL SOON MARIAN" my very best wishes to you. Thank you John, hence my original post. Here are the symptoms again:
    S—Shivering, fever, or very cold
    E—Extreme pain or general discomfort
    P—Pale or discolored skin
    S—Sleepy, difficult to rouse, confused
I—"I feel like I might die"
    S—Short of breath"

It took me all my time to brush my teeth, certainly never looked in a mirror, hardly brushed my hair, slept for Scotland, confusion to me is the worst symptom as I couldn't think straight and didn't realise I should have went to the doctor sooner, barely remember driving there.. . Lucky for me doctor took one look and I was packed off to hospital.
Was back in again this week, isolation, as my gut had a reaction!! to all the medication that I received...Silver lining..lost 7lbs Now have to keep clear of any virus otherwise my op will be postponed. So no kisses or cuddles from the grandchildren, skype only as I am prone to catching their sniffles.

As I said before I was treating myself for flu symptoms so beware.

Not joking Marion but those symptoms are similar to those experienced by many on this site when young men. Usually the result of a surplus of alcohol.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Life is too short to blend in.
