So there I am doing my impressions of N. Armstrong in the Moon Boot. Six months short of ten days and after five X Rays I am now free of the boot, Moon Boot that is. Now I have to begin to walk without a limp as I have done for the past six months. When I as give the Boot the physio company told me I could rent it or buy it, I bought. If I hire it would go back to be refurbished. I have t tell you that even JC miracle could refurbish this one.
my daughter spent several months wearing a moonboot and commuting from Rickmansworth to London city centre every day on the tube.must have been a nightmare.
I visited her during that time and we went shopping on the satuday into Rickmansworth, her in her moonboot. At one shop a woman rushed past us,very sprighltly obviously in a hurry with no signs of a moonboot and my daughter commented that the woman caught the same train as her every morning wearing a moonboot and always got a seat by playing the sympathy card.suggest that you retain your moonboot
John, have to ask....... maybe a stupid question..... what were you doing up a gum tree and checking for what??? you see we don't have gum trees here. just trying to broaden my knowledge.
regards, stan
Hi John.
Have a bloke up our club who has been wearing a moon boot for the last five months and he only stood on a stone, only a little bloke I give him a Long John Silver Arh! every time I see him.
Stan
John was looking for gum nuts, or is that nuts up a gum tree. Or stone the crows, peeping in next doors bedroom.
Cheers Des
This gum tree had recently been 'trimmed'. They can get a bit out of control if you do not cut them occasionally. I was making sure nit di not sprout again. Think you will find there are some um trees in Canada, the can be und in many countries as the range is quite large. Have seen them in Ireland, Spain and France
