Every good wish to you, of late never felt so ill. Hopefully getting over it. yesterday was bad actually sick all over our cat, again as said hopefully on the mend K. Cat still not happy.

Good news Brian. I am so pleased for you.
I had tumor removed last September but unfortunately trace of cancer left and was too dangerous to remove so had chemo and now after some 5 months remission see the Specialist on Thursday so hoping for good news like you had.

So sorry to hear of yours, I do hope it is cured soon, as it is a scary feeling.
The medication I was on was quite severe, I stopped taking it a few weeks ago and it takes two years to leave the body, so still suffering the side effects of it. Still it is better than the alternative.

Breadfruit, Captain James Cook, slave trade and Tahiti have a link. We had a breadfruit tree in our garden in Suva and it was a lovely shady spot. We were careful to keep them picked - our kid's sand pit was underneath it.

There is a Breadfruit Tree on the beach at Matavai Bay in Tahiti where the Bounty lay at anchor for six months waiting for the Breadfruit season. Three years ago I took my back tooth with me that Mr Christian , my Dentist in Bolton , had pulled, and buried it there by the rock that has the other Mr Christians name on, with the rest of the crew of the Bounty on a plaque.
Anne has had one out by dentist Mr Christian, we are taking that with us so she can bury hers there as well.
So part of us will forever be in Tahiti, How cool is that?
We have a glass jar of the black sand off the beach at Matavai Bay, probably the same sand that Captain Bligh and all the crew of the Bounty walked upon all those years ago,
I have an ancient Book published in 1805, it just contains the manuscripts of Captain Bligh, and his voyage to `O`taheite` Mr Peter Heywood, Midshipman, who was sentenced to death and then reprieved. and others from the Courts Marshall, There is no author, just copies of their journals, very interesting reading.
