Re: Time and tide..............
Hi Vernon. Get your blood pressure down. way too high.
What is normal blood pressure?Ideally, we should all have a blood pressure below 120 over 80 (120/80). This is the ideal blood pressure for people wishing to have good health. At this level, we have a much lower risk of heart disease or stroke.
If your blood pressure is optimal, this is great news.
If your blood pressure is above 120/80mmHg, you will need to lower it.
Most adults in the UK have blood pressure readings in the range from 120 over 80 (120/80) to 140 over 90 (140/90). If your blood pressure is within this range, you should be taking steps to bring it down or to stop it rising any further. .
The reason why people with blood pressure readings in this range should lower it, even though this is not classified as 'high' blood pressure, is that the higher your blood pressure, the higher your risk of health problems. For example, someone with a blood pressure level of 135 over 85 (135/85) is twice as likely to have a heart attack or stroke as someone with a reading of 115 over 75 (115/75).
Excercise is good, I have an excercise bike, I use it daily and lift weights, not heavy ones, just comfortable. Gets the hearty pounding and does it good, in moderation.
Also your diabetes,
Once you have it, you have it for Life. you cannot stop treatment, you have to continue all your life, OR ELSE.
Over here you have to go to the Diabetic Clinic to have your toe and finger nails cut every time.
If you cut yourself you cannot stop it. My mate Fred did that. They told him he was Diabetic, Type2, he said ,` I havent really got it`, Then he cut his toe nails and could not stop the blood, he had to go to hospital .
A little regular sunshine helps your body to create Vitamin D,
Hope I have cheered you up.

#51, Capt' 'diabetes, you have it for Life.' In my sister & my husband's case both were type 2. It
was eradicated once they had lost their excess weight and continue to follow a low fat/suger diet, exercise too of course. Neither of them have to have theirs nails trimmed anywhere apart from home and as a family we draw lot's for THAT chore:) An eye check once a year is all that's required.
Re: Time and tide..............
Hi Marian,
If they stopped their Low Fat Diet and excercising it would return, You always have it, but you can control it then you will not suffer from it. Trust me.
In Bolton you attend the Diabetic Clinic to have your nails cut, as a precausion in case you cut yourself. If your relatives get cut they will bleed a lot.Thats all.
Cheers
Brian.

Re Number 58.
Most probably under the Islamic law of Shariah, they'd take the easy way out and cut off both feet then leave the poor sufferer to bleed to death.
FOURO.
