for a number of years now i have had, through my doctor, a package sent yearly to me for a home check for any signs of abnormality in the the bowel. i call it "poop on a stick".
on three different movements you take two samples and apply it to a sealed card, reseal it and mail it to a lab. if anything shows up, you will be sent for a full colonoscopy. so far not had a problem, i like this procedure and have faith in the program. do you have the same available over there.

#12. Hi Stan, In Scotland the cardboard kit is issued from the age of fifty, every two/three years if memory serves correct. England, Wales & Northern Ireland may be different
