you lot should be here in the US , if your insurance pays out well ,and fast the Doc will have you in very month, but if the insurance pays out less then you only be able to see him at his leasure ,and there are 1000,s of insurance plans ,with all diferent kinds of benefits ,a total mess and waste of medical $$$$ going to private insurance agencies .

. So I guess we dont do too bad in the UK.
The only problem is it is abused by the millions of people who come here for free treatment and never pay into the system.
    Good health

Report out today if you have an operation on Friday you have a far greater chance of dying than somebody having an op on Monday. This report is being taken very seriously, its not just one hostpital it's national.Apparently top specialists and many services not available over the weekend.
    Regards.

Brian I to have developed kisses on posting and can not see how Liberals is censored. Just is case it is done again will explain that it is the opposition party that is under those kisses so might be a secret love affair going on LOL.

Vern got to agree that we have a great health system here and that is the frightening part of it as they do love to muck around with something that is working right. Does your doctor charge a gap fee as most do here but not all. I know that the sheriff has to pay the full fee and gets the medicare refund where as the doctor I see does not charge at all just bulk bills medicare. The amount of red tape that they have put upon doctors lately is so stupid. Now a worker has to get a certificate for absence from work then get another one to resume work now if that is that not overloading the system along with a lot of other silly rules that they have thought up making it impossible for the doctor to see all patients so causing a back log.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

Les, as a hospital customer back in march i can assure you our system works far better than any currently in use in UK. You idea will not happen as most non concession pateints have to pay the GP. ome is rebated by Medicare but not all consultations are covered.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
