After retiring I tried being a meeter and greeter in Asda, Left after a week by mutual consent, then became a drug runner for the local Pharmacy.
Not as bad as it sounds , doing home deliveries for NHS preciptions. Gave that up a few months ago and have stopped driving due to health and a couple of close calls. My driving is not what it was. Would never forgive myself if I was to have an incident and injured someone.
Left school at 15 and a half.

At 16 started 5 year apprenticeship as Fitter in Windlass Bay at 'Clarkies'.
At 21 joined Royal Mail Lines as junior engineer. At 26 and as senior 3rd engineer left to live in Southern California.
In Long Beach, California worked 3 years for Power Unit Service, servicing pumping rigs in the oil-fields.
Took a job with Columbia Yachts as hardware installer building fibre-glass sailboats from 22 to 57 feet. 8 years later was plant superintendent.
Columbia Yachts relocated to Virginia, I didn't want to go there.
Stayed in Southern California working for Islander Yachts, Ericson Yachts, Willard Boat Company, Lancer Yachts, and Glastron Carlson, in management positions.
Boat building collapsed and I took a job as production manager with Sundance Spas, builder of portable above ground spas with whom I spent 12 years.
My working career ended 30 years ago due to a brain tumour I was lucky to survive. I'll be 91 on December 13th.
Of note; I was on holiday in England visiting a friend in Durham City when without warning I keeled over unconscious in the street.
