Just something that the brother in law did in the UK, James. He put his sons on the deeds of the house well before he kark it. I think it was seven years but not sure. That this would come into affect. It negated the death duties and all those other things that the government of the day enforce. Some thing similar here. I put the son on my deeds will cost a few bob for sure. This would mean that if or when I get sent to the bloody care home that they cannot use the house as an asset because it has another person on the deeds. Learnt early on in life? They constantly change the rules but always and I mean always put a loop hole into it that only they know about. It is up to us hairy anus ones to figure out where that loop hole is.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

WE have a state treasurer here in Victoria, ex uni girl with experience, what is that she may well ask'

So educated she has asked the public servants in treasury, the ones she deals with on behalf of the electorate, to tell he what is meant in simple terms as she does not understand financial terms or matters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I personally think that the current honours system has become a joke. My understanding of it was that men were knighted because of chivalrous doings in service to the monarch. As such these Knights then formed a body of individuals who when called upon would give professional advice to the monarch. It would appear that the system has been rorted by the politicians as a grace and favour to those with deep pockets and bulging wallets.

Be a big donator to any political party and when they are in office you will get some form of honor.
It is the most disgusting misuse of what was at one time a very honorable system.

Now that was a total imposition the man has been in front of two inquiries that I know of , one for putting the uk in a war on false information and two for selling or acquiring money by the sale of British Awards to foreign dignataries the excuse it was for party funds. The man’s morals are enough to put any taxpayer at odds with any politician of any hue. The smell is not an aroma it is a stench to my nose. JS.

Well it was not a appointment that came from Downing St

It was the late Queen who made him a Sir

He was made a Knight Companion of the Garter by Queen Elizabeth II in 2022.

The house of commons elected to go to war in Iraq not Blair alone.

No one knows what pressure Bush put on Blair and the UK to join in the removal of Sadam .
Think he was told we will do it without if need be, that is how the so called special relationship works a one way street !!!

I hope when Trump turns up for the 2nd State visit king Charles gives Trump a slap if he dares to walk in front of him, who knows maybe the CIA will have a man in place to terminate Trumps contract !!! can always blame it on a rouge Russian agent operating in the UK.

The house of commons voted to go war in Irag based on the information presented to it. Which we all know was the biggest load of drivel that was ever cut and pasted.
