#9 once again Johnny that all sounds hunky dory , what would the UK do if the majority of the people who were originally illegal immigrants had the vote and elected some blighted party contrary to original Brit’s ideas. How many or majority of the electorate in The Ukraine were originally German occupation forces. The general public always jump to the side of the underdog , but maybe if the media and the likes of investigative journalists weren’t so choosy about what they wrote about we may be all a bit wiser to the truth. There is always two sides to a story , and clarification of both sides depends of the truth of both sides in any explanation. As far as we have the truth it is only speculation. JS

He may be President of the Ukraine at the moment but according to a respected indipendant pollster 60 % of Ukrainians would not vote for him in the next election. That was confirmed by Trump on TV.
On TV the other night a group who have been transferring people out of the war zone, were more or less told to get stuffed when they wanted to move people out of a village, they said the Russians will b here soon, they said so what.
I wont swear to this but from what I read he is from a family of pro German supporters during the 2nd wold war, they used to report any people who where sabotaging the German efforts, many Ukraine Russians where slaughtered,
What ever the outcome of Trumps approach to a peace agreement it will only be signed by Russia if the Ukraine is prevented from joining NATO.
I think that this war was totally stupid and unnecessary, but Russia has more to fear from the West than the other way around, despite James 's bias.

#8 On the other side of the coin Ivan how many men women and children have been killed or maimed for life on both sides to warrant the power of the politician. And their complete righteousness in doing so. Whatever Trump has in mind in regard to negotiations is not going to cut the mustard with some , as will see it as the whole exercise should have been conducted with diplomacy in the first place, that is the true job of any politician who wants to earn his inflated salary and conditions. Anyhow unlike the present day media the less said the better. JS.
There in lies one problem, the media.
How much is fact, how much fiction and how much the wishes of the writer that this may happen.
So much of what we hear I consider is nothing more than speculation by some media guy in the hope he may be correct and maybe get some reward for that.
To a lot of people I imagine it has lost its ability as a tool of reporting the news with neutrality . Too much personal likes and dislikes are being reported by a lot of reporters , and with the obvious reaction of appearing to the news gatherer , with tongue in cheek and airing and emphasing what they want , and this is called freedom of the Press ? Most people if they want the world news don’t want to be educated by uneducated people who think they know better than anyone else. They are the conveyer of news as it happens nothing less and nothing more. JS. PS No News is Good News !!!… unless of course you’ve won Lotto . JS.

Just few names who dared to criticise Putin, either murdered or died under suspicious circumstances.strange form of democracy they have in Russia.
The newest world dictator has been threatening to place under arrest those who oppose him as well.
The point is, it's their country, not ours. Many see life in Europe being better than life in Russia, that's why they resisted the attempts by pro Russians to take over by force.
None of it is our business really, it's just that most sensible countries see that when Putin got involved, the spread of the USSR started again. Most people in Ukraine don't want that, and democratically, shouldn't be having it. A bit like what happens in most reasonable countries at election time, it works the other way too.
I know someone that lived in Tallinn, Estonia for some years. He was married into a pro Russian family, and saw how they see the world. I think he had enough of their ways and got out. They all hope and pray for reunification into Russia. They thinks Russia will win over if they get away with Ukraine.
After the last couple of world wars, most countries feel that supporting threatened nations is the way to go, especially if they are newly released from tyrannical government.
People in Europe, either know or should have sense enough to know that the Ukraine is fighting a war not only for there own freedom but also a proxy war on all European nations who do not want to come under Russian control. Sooner Europe can look after themselves the better as it has been made obvious this week that GI joe will not be getting involved in another European war, and I can understand that 100%
Just wonder what would happen if Putin lobbed one into Americas little aircraft carrier, certainly will test the so called special relationship.
