Re: This will continue
Just watched the interview with the shadow minister for energy on Insiders. Came across as they do not have a bloody clue where they are going with nuclear. Seems that there will be seven plants around Australia and each plant could have about five nuclear plants in each one so that means thirty five in total. Loved the way he explained that consumers would benifit with cheaper power bill from these government run reactors that are going to cost the taxpayer billions. Call me a sceptic, but does that not mean that the public will be paying for not only the build but also running costs. So we could end up with free electricity but paying more in tax's for that luxury. Talk about robbing Peter to pay Paul. Lets cut to the chase. It is all about winning the next election as they have had nearly a decade to have come up with this idea but did feck all in fact they ditched their original energy policy years ago. As for the EV con that is going on in Oz, it seems that there is movement afield where they are doing away with building any more EV in favour of hydrogen power. Have always said that they are using Australia as a dumping ground for the EV's
That's the way the mop flops.
My thanks to Brian for this site.
