#10 Not too well Des , don’t know whether coming or going at present ,and is bad enough trying to remember which specialist are supposed to see next. It’s not only me but the wife as well , so the situation is like the blind leading the blind. However these little things are sent to try us. Theres always someone worse off than oneself. Cheers JS.

I feel for you both John, having you both in the not very well class, my wife is struggling now, but at least I can do all the necessary things needed. Was surprised this morning' went to do some shopping at Woolworth's to find my son behind the counter, this afternoon h is looking after a young bloke who was crippled in a bike accident, and I thought , there are people more badly off than us, if that is possible

When we arrived we used the State bank of Victoria, then it got into strife and was taken over by the Commonwealth bank.
Never looked back, they look after us well, all our insurances with them at a far better rate than most insurers ang get travel insurance with my platinum credit card.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

I got all aerated the other week John as was told that Bankwest which is owned by Commonwealth was stopping business. Went into the Commonwealth and said I have a term deposit coming up next month. What interest are you paying now .o1% still , they said what bank are you in and I said one of your subsideries and their coming out of money it seems. No No they said they are only coming out of business loans. So I will wait and see

    Hi John.
We have our pension put into Westbank, only because our old bank shut down in Cooma, if they keep shutting the banks will have to revert to under the mattress. If you need help with that big amount you owe Cappy I can send you a three penny piece. LoL It might get Thomas off your back.

My brother has his mortgage with Bankwest and so far no problems.
Will ask him next time I see him if he knows what is going on.

Your post on tipping John , comes up letter style so can’t answer it until screen goes back to normal . But my favourite answer when asked for a tip was “ be kind to your mother “ .
