Life can be odd at times.
I volunteer at the local community health center on Fridays.
We have a group of 15 men, all with various problems.

Stroke, acquired brain injury, medical issues, mental problems, one guy deaf and unable to speak.
Only two, both about 90 are older than I, the rest up to 15 years my junior.

I look and think there but for the grace of God go I.
Still able to climb the roof or the tree when needed.
On no regular medication, so I have to be vey thankful for my life.
Enjoy what you can while you can, we never know what is around the next bend

John to ease your mind you could have your DNA done , give the results to Marian to do a family tree and hope like hell Brians namesake King Kongs name didnt come up as a match.

Johnno. don't push your luck mate. You won't bounce if you slip and fall, it will be more of a splatter. Old bones are brittle. I love my morning walk, but the slightest hint of ice on the sidewalk and I give it a miss, it accounts for about ten days out of the year, say twenty other mornings when it's raining, the rest of the year is mine to enjoy. To risk your life or limb on a roof to save a couple of hundred bucks from the cost of some young buck doing it, isn't the smartest maneuver. No disrespect meant, but the expression "Act your age." is pretty good one.

I'd hate to hear that you came a cropper and I have lost reading your threads.

John. It was the best $150.00 I ever spent on myself, it told me my ancestry is 87% English, 3% Danish and 5% each French and German (Saxon). That got me interested in genealogy to find out where the French bit came from, and I traced a couple of my ancestral line's way back, they came over with William the Conqueror. It's given me a great hobby that able to do on the computer and I compile all the documents into a binder to leave to my descendants.

#8 yes Rodney most People of so called British blood are all mongrels if you go back in History. But unlike Hitler we never went into ethnic cleansing like Hitler and other Arabic countries. We do all have individual bias however as can sometimes see on various posts, in what we call the western world has been a long difficult struggle to get where we are today. What people forget in that continuing struggle is it takes two to tango and the many sides to humanity still has a long way to go, if ever, cheers JS. Myself I still believe in the old Biblicology of an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth, with perhaps a little extra to give ample warning of any further acts of aggression and your out for good. Maybe Hamas has already used up its nine lives, I hope so, as there are many others such yet still to learn the hard way if necessary. JS.

Rodney when I pop my clogs ,people when they open my glass case are going to wonder what a 1 dollar US bill is doing there . It is to remind me of the signs it displays of basics on which the Constitution of the USA is based and that is signs and symbols from the Old Testament , I recognise 5 of them straight away but there are more. The US whether it knows it or not are Jewish orientated and even by the first thing you notice the head and bust of George Washington who was also well noted for his philanthropotic deeds. JS
