    Default Sweets

Any one ever get a craving for boiled sweets?
I bought a bag of Humbugs the other day, do not know why as I have not had a boiled sweet for years I would think. Out today put petrol in the car and spotted a bag of Brandy Balls. so tonight watching TV I have my tongue nearly raw through sucking on a bag of Brandy Balls.
My Mrs asked me if I was up the duff with my recent cravingsHumbugs.jpgBrandy Balls.jpg

Just had a thought maybe I should have posted this in the Sugar thread doh!!!

We all get cravings at times.
At times I get them for some odd foods.
Drinking Gin while eating pickled onions the other day.

I on occassion will have a Bushmills whiskey, usually neat , sometimes with ice & soda , rarely these days with dry ginger.
Seeing as the nights are getting colder here and people are coughing and sneezing I believe prevention is better than cure.
So I have of late a large tot of Bush a spoonful of honey and a good squeeze of lemon and boiling hot water, cloves optional.

John the Aussie customs have nicked a bottle of Spanish Larios gin from your posted package Spanish Gin might well go with pickled

Best thing to do with a poor whisky , put it in a fancy bottle and someone will buy it. I have not seen Haig Dimple for years.

Got a good deal on a ltr bottle of Bushmills £22 in Asda

Go to Numea , there is a very large shop there selling all manner of grog from around the globe.
Very popular with tourists, many of whom think this is cheap.
Well it is compared with back home.
Never bought there, it looked too good to be true.

Heard from one passenger who had been there before and bought a good few.
Fine he said if you like your Scotch already watered, Rum with a distinct coffee flavour.
Then some of the worlds finest on shelves that look so good.
    Pity about the contents.
Apparently according to him they have a store out back where they bottle all manner of crap in fancy bottles.

Can but Dimple any time at Dan Murphy's.
LOading whisky in Glasgow, the foreman kept our seaboots in bathroom well filled with lost bottles. Every night, we helped stopped getting a cold or flu by putting 2 inches of scotch in a pint mug, a spoonful of issue lime juice and filling with hot water. We slept well and kept fit
