Re: BBC Programme State of Chaos
Vic, When you were at sea did you ever listen to the BBC World Service or perhaps Paddy Feeny Saturday Special/ Sportsworld ? ITV /STV 30 minute programme.
In the 30 minutes of a TV program, only about 23–24 minutes will be the program content. So, the other 6 to 7 minutes are filled with commercials and a short station I.D.
Why would I want to view anadvert for Head & Shoulders when really all I need is a good polish. Certainly have no use for Viagra I have enough trouble with blood pressure as it is.
SKY package deal !!!! £19.00
per month
for 18 months
Prices may change during this period.
usually £29.00
Each to there own.
Re: BBC Programme State of Chaos

Amazon Prime is good value but Standard Netflex is £4.99. To be honest there is always plenty to view on Freesat , I Player ITVX etc. One thing I do dislike about terrestial TV, both BBC & ITV are soaps ,East Enders as soon as that music starts change channel same with Corrie and Emmerdale. All they seem to do is fight and argue with each other. I am sure one of the reasons there is domestic abuse in the country is people actually are now behaving like that as they think the way they act on soaps is real life.
I do like the likes of Country File and Michael Portillo Bradshaws railway journeys. Cannot be bothered with Antiques Roadshow , well past it's sell by date. But Vic each to there own.

Yes we have a feral Labor gov all over apart from in Tassie.
Problem is that couple such as WA and NSW are fairly good.
Here in Victoria we have wone, carbon copy of the old continuing with the same cost a packet agenda.
Feral, not so good, lost the plot, maybe never read the script, and has put the voice front and center.
The people are crying out for some form of cost of living relief, but no the voice comes first.
If it fails, and all polls show it will, what then?
We have been told we will be $275 better off on power costs when we go all renewables, but by then the price will be so high the $275 will not even buy Cappy a beer.
I see the UK Pm has come to an agreement about oil, he is correct it will take long past 2035 to get to a sustainable situation with renewables.
One of our renowned radios guys has said, and quite rightly for so many,
"climate change is nothing more than a new cult"

Yes John more licences have been granted .
Just a shame that the UK economy will not get a lot of benefits from the recently mentioned deal for the Rose Bank well.
The company Equinor is owned by
Equinor is an international technology-based energy company with oil and gas production as its main activity1. The company was formed by the 2007 merger of Statoil with the oil and gas division of Norsk Hydro2. The Norwegian state is the largest shareholder in Equinor, holding 67% of the shares through the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy.
Surprised a radio guy is that well up on climate change.
Good job old Noah ignored people and continued to build his Arc, wht did he let the Mosquitos get onboard as well

Boris forgiven by getting us out of the EU? Some mistake surely?
That con has already done this country more damage than the Luftwaffe. Try talking to anyone trying to trade with Europe these days. A mess of red tape to be contended with so that ma
ny have given up. And we did this to ourselves - conned by criminals who wanted to keep the tax havens untouched at all costs, someting that the EU has for years been commited to lifting the lid on.Truss yes agreed utter disgrace but the Tories kicked out all thier serious intellectul heavyweights because they could see through the Brexit con.
