John, live in the UK and am now suffering the consequences of leaving the EU . Nearly every aspect of our daily lives is affected now and in the future. The downside of leaving is now only starting to show ,however the politicians who steered the country into this mess has disappeared off the radar, to leave others to repair the damage .In my humble opinion the sooner we return the better.

Funny how the Eu was formed, Britain was signed into it by a PM who never even informed Parliament OR the British people what he was doing, I had by then left the Old Country for pastures new, but the one thing I do recall was that poor bloke they crucified , the one who I think ran a fruit stall or something and they kept charging him until he died, most probably of shame at his fellow citizens who gave in to Europe after all those men had died to keep Britain safe.

From what I know and remember there were so many changes and not all good for the people and workers in UK.
But from experience I know one can never go back, re-enter the EU and it will not be the same.
All UK has to do is to set a course that is good for the people, not just the polis.

I see petrol and diesel will be a round until maybe 2050 with the new time frame, maybe not so bad for the average worker.
    The environment will cope.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

There's only one reason the UK has suffered after Brexit, and I've said this before. It's simply because the fatcats don't want Brexit to work, it's that simple. All those queues at Dover are designed by the fatcat multinationals and UK remainers. They say it's paperwork and customs, plus all the other reasons, but how on earth did we manage before the EU was invented. I could drive to any port and be on the ferry within the time it took for the ferry to tie up and tip out. If the fatcats and remainers don't want something to work, it won't.
We don't need a pencil to work that one out.

the ones who do not even live here anymore.

It should have stopped at the common market, now it is run by an unelected commision. I dunno why they bother with the EU parliament.
