    Default The Voice

For those who watch Australian television there are currently 2 programs running with the same title, one is a talent contest , and the other is what Australians will be voting on before long on changing the Constitution to bring the Aborigine people and all those with the slightest bit of Aborigine blood into further wellbeing by relieving the Polly’s when they can’t make a decision and doing it for them. Don’t get the two shows mixed up .Cheers JS

#1 can you believe this.....k’goonawarrabiggapokntang is the original Aborigine name and according to a messenger who sent message not on a cleft stick but by. Email with part of his msg. Reproduced “ forGods sake our” proud
First Nation would be too lazy to use and since when did they have a written language requiring the use of an apostrophe ? “
You can thank a flabby nondescript politician for foisting this upon us.
Where. Does it all end !!!!!!Answer In Tears. We are talking about the island Frazer Island as most will or maybe not hopefully not have to learn to pronounce. JS

    John.
Albanese has made a right rickets of it all, It should have been set out in plain language that people today would be able to read. {That's half the population] At least then some of us could understand what it it all means, as it stands now no one has any idea of what the whole bloody thing is about, The Voice they say gives a voice to the Aboriginals in our Parliament, but we have at last six politicians of Aboriginal blood there now, therefore any Aboriginal can stand for Parliament. So whats the rub.

High JS, when I see the weather on SBS I wonder what financial or other input the Aboriginese have had into the capitals for the names to be changed to some strange name you cannot understand.

There are 11 Aboriginal MP if the feral parliament.
There are 83 different bodies caring for Aboriginal issues.

So how many bloody voices do they want???????

Like us they got the vote, but half of them most likely cannot read.
Come the Sunday after we can all go to church knowing we did the right thing and said NO bloody way mate.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

The Voice is a political movement in Australia. Different rules apply for those living in Australia from those living in the UK ?

It all started eight years ago while the bloody LNP where in power. They did bugger all about it but professed to foster it by putting Ken White as minister for aboriginal affairs with the mandate of sitting on his fat back side and doing nothing about it. Along comes the election and the leader of the ALP declared that if they won that he would settle it once and for all and put it to the people in a referendum. No politics just letting the people of Australia decide if the generous offer by the aboriginal could be settled once and for all. It is the opposition leader Dutton that has turned this into a political bun fight and muddied the waters so to speak with nothing but outright lies and misrepresentation of what is offered. Sure there are aboriginal MPs and different bodies looking after them but controlled by either party policies or in the case of those bodies looking after them making sure that they are underfunded when the need arises and then throwing millions at the south east corner of Australia to keep the radical ones quiet. Just as an example that came up in question time the other day? Seems that aboriginal communities in the remote northern part of Australia have to purchase electricity before they use it. Then have to suffer black outs (no pun intended) for days as they are cut of from the grid. Should we not be proud to have the longest surviving group of people in the world still living amongst us and where here before while we where still thinking of getting a wheel. Also be thankful that they did not decide to colonize the world and we would be asking for a bloody voice in a different language.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.
