    Now here is a good point I reckon? How are motels and such like going to handle people booking in and charging their cars overnight and how are they going to know how much extra money will they charge and how is it to be calculated, Still no one has answered the question as to how much are service stations charging and how long to charge a car up from nearly empty.

    Les, I saw one report which said charge could cost about half the price of a tank of fuel depending where you charge.
    But for anyone charging at home it will be at the same rate as all your household costs.
    I see now the UK is considering a charge per mile for EV as they pay no fuel exice.
    Here in Victoria all EV have to pay 2.5 cents per kilometer.
