I.m afraid that t will take many brain surgeons to get the football fanatics to use theirs properly, and realise that any sport these days is only there to take their money.

But Des, to be a footy player or many other kind of sports person you do not need a brain.

What sports did you play John ? Pocket billiards is not a sport

There is a movement now for players trying to claim compensation. Advances in early detection for the likes of Dementia & Motor Neurone disease. Studies have revealed that over time footballers heading the ball , head injuries in Rugby etc!!is leading to the early onset of this terrible disease.
Boxing surely has to be in the mix as well. There have been several recent deaths due to dementia Scottish international Doddie Weir at age 52.
A Scottish International Siobhan Cattigan only 26 died in Decemebr 2021. They are still investigating her death as it was Brain Trauma was the cause of death?

WE have the same problem here in Oz James.
Footy players who after a life time of playing suddenly say the sport has left them injured.

But worse still our state Premier is advocating that polis who loses their seat should be paid 18 months pay as compensation, not bad when on over $1000,000 a year for a back bencher.

What the Chief Executive of Qantas gets is appalling, all for trashing a once great airline.

The Irish leprechaun is well known.
Before Quantas he was with Ryan Air in UK.

Has changed so much with little improvement overall.

Latest bit, showing all the new menus with what first class and business will get.
Cattle class will also get better quality peanuts, but all flights costs have gone up.

A good friend of ours runs a bakery which at one time supplied Quantas with bread rolls.
Thye asked could they be made smaller to educe costs, our friend said yes if you wish to serve stones instead of rolls.
The size they wanted, just to cut costs, would have made it almost impossible to produce them.
