Re: Putin V the West
I am sure you do, but my point is that most commercial stations here, and maybe overseas do not do a very good job.
I use the SBS as a source of info as i find they are the most honest.
Bit on the news yesterday.
A Russian general who for some time was anti Putin came out with a statement to say that the West will have to pay for all of this when they are reduced to nothing when Russia once again is at the top.
Thye do love making a noise, but there are no doubt some who will listen.

Re: Putin V the West
Last week I said there was a report that Ukraine had just joined the EU.
I was then informed they had been a member for a number of years.
Today while addressing the EU parliament the president of Ukraine said his intent was to join the EU very soon.
One out of three, but which one, bit like find the lady.

Re: Putin V the West
I got two pictures in mind as I watched Porichenko address the EU, and that was one, the other was of the big crowd around the Prince of Wales {A misnomer ] and Hitler in the 30s, the rich hanging around a Fascist leader.
Someone on TV said he wouldn't want to stay out of the Ukraine to long, maybe they knew something we didn't.

Re: Putin V the West
I can't see Ukraine getting into the EU anytime soon. Things will have to settle down for quite some time, with no threat from the ruskies. The EU bods in Brussels would be pretty thick if they did let them join.
