Their preferred medium of communication is however often via text, be that any number of 'phone apps or via social media websites. The overwhelming majority therefore demonstrably are able to read and write with little issue.
Handwriting is another matter entirely of course, but it was always thus.
When it comes to actual discourse you'll find video calls are generally the order of the day; precious few make telephone calls in the traditional voice only sense anymore. The technology is there so they use it.
When my daughter was at University as an older student as had already had a couple of years working , she and her future husband also at university were both extreme to the left of any politics after gaining their extra laudits in their chosen professions and joining the real world their political views have done a 180 degrees change of course . I have no views on political parties and vote for the person who looks the most honest ,I go on their personal aspects and not their mealie mouths. Their aspect for those not knowing the meaning is often referred to on a Radar screen as red or green so many degrees , which is a good description of what they are.. A blob of light referred to as the target. Under normal circumstance would have a nearest approach of 2 miles and that’s about as close to any politician for me. JS

So one set of rules there and another when home.

Hair dresser of my wife is a classic case.
Had he mother look after the kids while she worked, as she told us the kids would scream when taken away from the grandmother.

I suppose the price of housing these days it needs two salaries coming in and that is just to get the deposit together to get a foot on the property ladder.
One problem with many of the younger generation when it comes to houses is where they want to live.
In our outer suburbs there ae plenty of houses at affordable costs, but if you only want to live within a few klm of the city center then yes it may be a bit tough.
But there are some who make the move, do well and then slowly move a bit closer.
Getting back to the original title of this post. Is it worth while anymore to vote ?. The old system of voting like we knew it has been replaced in many cases by electronic
voting systems. There are lots of situations where the final result is the opposite as to what was expected. Surely electronic voting can be programmed to give any
desired outcome ? Or am I wrong - again ?.
