    Default London and other places

Well i have just been reading the New about the Hot Weather that a lot of places within the UK , have been experiencing of late!
Quite amazing when one looks back on the Years, to think that these kind of Tempretures could happen.

Now on this Link it shows how the great Thames River is subsiding due to all this heat, and the very near possibility of a Hose Ban in London. I think which will just carry on towards other parts as well.

Its very nice to have the Weather so nice especially in the UK, and most all would have and are still making the most of it, but if things continue there is sure to be a lot of Heartache over it!

Apparently its seems by the Experts that Weather patterns in the UK, will be changing in the coming Years with more Hot Summers like the one you have just had, so what next??

    All the best
    Cheers

Another couple of unforgetable memories the sandwich board men coming around with the headline The End Is Nigh and another memory in the late fourties of being covered with sun blisters which had to be burst to let the puss out.
Is a long way past the term hot off the press as most of middle age and upwards have been there and done that. Cheers JS

The River Rhine & Danube and all major European rivers are also recording record low water levels this summer.rhine-river-water-levels-bloomberg-768x455.jpg A lot of river cruises are being either cancelled or cutting back on itineraries.oil-tanker-on-rhine-river-near-oberwesel-germany-bloomberg-768x512.jpg

I am going to put in a protest about Britain stealing our Aussie weather, I haven't been out of thick jumpers for six months, temps down to minus 17 at night. It's not fair after me spending 10pounds to come out here. The sun is out today but all the warmth has ben taken out in the UK so it may as well go back North.

    Indeed Des
The las Six Months have been terrible here, worst i have experienced since landing here in 1980. We arrived in Mrach of that Year and Boy it was bleedin Hot, but lovely , as the Heat was quite dry compared to the Durban Heat with all that Humidity!

But hopefully we will soon be coming out of the Wet, Windy, Icy stuff and get a bit more of what we are used to here is Aussie! Sun oh good Sun! LOL

It is summer in UK, July and August normally the hottest time of the year, as is the case in central EU.

Those of us who can recall past summers will recall the ones of 1959 nd 1976 when conditions were just as they are now.
In 1976 we had two six week spells of similar weather, Mid April to end of May, then July through August.

Water rationing with stand pipes in some areas.
Any one who understands weather patterns will tell you this is nothing new, droughts in one part of the globe cause flooding in others.
The water on Earth is finite, just manifests itself in different ways, rivers, seas oceans, ice etc.

A drought such as is now occuring draws moisture into the atmosphere, it will reach a level where it can no longer hold it.
The cooling of the southern seas brought about by two consecutive years of La Nina give an opportunity for the moisture to be released, hence the floods in NSW ans Queensland.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Life is too short to blend in.
