I used to have a phobia about dentists, couldn't sleep for days before a dentists appointment.
Thankfully I am now cured. Bought a set of sparkling white teeth from ebay.
Only one previous owner from a smoke and pet free home.

Knocker phobia..... when the mother in law knocks at the door.
mine doesn't knock, bangs the door open stomps in and yells, just like a police raid; dogs go berserk and take ten minutes to calm down, volume goes up again soon as she starts talking. I take off upstairs and follow her yak quite distinctly from up there.

#12 Bet if it was that Jewish girl ( Neva) in NCIS if she came in shouting NCIS stop where you are , you wouldn’t be trying to escape upstairs unless you had hopes of her following. JS.

I used to suffer from knockerphobia but was miraculously cured when the barmaid in the George & Dragon was replaced by a barman.

George was not the problem, it was his wife the Dragon.

    Then there is alcofhobic reaction.
