    John,
If I make a mistake with the shopping by the time I get home it's to late. Which begs the answer, I went to Woolworths to buy the groceries I left the Coffee, price $13 ajar as I wasn't sure if it was the right one, My wife said it was, so the next day I went back to buy it, same coffee same shelf same gaps in the shelf, but now they were $19-30cents I asked the shop girl who I know if they were the same jars she said yes. Could it be they are charging shelf rent now?

Des I think we are about to see a lot of Price hikes soon, because of the Shortage of Drivers and the O/T others are having to put in.
Know a Guy here who has been on the Delivery Trucks for a long time, and he tells me that he has gone from Working a normal 38 Hour job,to doing up to 60 hrs a Week and more at times! Although he gets really good Wages we are to be paying for that in the end!
This Covid is running wild and causing all kinds of Mahem here!
Dont know where it will end !

Plus the shortage of this Fuel additive is a Major Headache he says!

Problem Des, every Wednesday bot Woolies and Coles begin the specials.
So the coffee may well have been on special the first day, not the next.

But last week Woollies had a cat food on special.
    Normally sells at $1.80.

On special at 3 for $1.41 save $3.99.

Go to the check out with 24 but no luck, the system had not been changed.
    Still scans at full price
But I stuck to my guns and they had to let me have it at that price.

Called into another on the way home and got another 24.

Next morning into the other store close to us and get another 24 after a bit of a fight with the assistant manger who told me it was a glitch in the system so he would not allow it to go at the advertised price.
No worries mate I will contact the ACC and tell them.
He then changed his mind and I got them at the advertised price with him saying which store are you going to next.

Was not but at his prompting went to the one from night before and got another 24.

Today someone must have worked out there was a problem as even though today is the last day of the special it has been changed back to normal price.

As to shelf rent, Des all suppliers have to pay it, the top shelf is the most expensive with bottom ones the cheapest.

Woolies big losers here as I got 96 for $45.12 whet at normal price it would be $172.80

Retail Policy is that any shown price on the shelf will be charged, no matter what. You are Entitled to what the price Tag Shows

Very true Vernon and besides this lot I have on other occasions scored a good deal as a result of incorrect ticketing.
