two jabs ..not two jags

graham 14 over the past few years i could count jabs and canulars ?by the thousand i think its all the jabs at sea we got is keeping me going thousands blood test regular after a cancer opp i had 14 canulars stuck in me i called them my bracelets in intensive care i had to stay indoors for 14 months and was told by my prof if i got covid very little could be done for me.. she was a joes comfort telling me that we have friends just moved back from Texas they said it is a lot worse than on the news there she was a nurse in the states for years?jp

NSW comes out of lock down today, Victoria has another couple of weeks to go.
Sunday saw a record number of vaccinations across the nation, at the current rate we will get to 90% by the end of November.

Very little mention of a third vac apart for some very vunerable people.

But to get out of lock down some now will take nay vac they can.

is there any point of getting the covid jab when so many are not getting it it is them that are just passing covid around now its the young getting it? jp

Just been on the news that pregnant women form 1 in 6 cases, at the start of course they were unsure about vaccinating pregnant women, but now it is ok, so you can understand pregnant women initially reluctant to take the vaccine . Here on this small island we are running at over a 100 cases a day in total, not just pregnant women of course, !!

I would say yes John, because the more we try to protect ourselves the more we are hopefully protecting those who are near and dear to us, as well as protecting strangers who probably are unaware that we are doing our bit whether they be believers or not.

ivan most that are in hospital are ones who did not believe there was such a thing as covid we have lost a few friends with it my next door mate Eddie passed last month a long time mate of mine the last of the cunard yanks in my area? jp

As said and is most probable just common Sense, the more that have the Jabs the more it will help to get this under control to the extent that we all can once again live normally! It will in time just become another like the Flue a lot worse though of course, but we will live with it and keep on getting the Shot on a Yearly basis like the Flu/

I see in the UK they are now worried that this Winter could be one of the worst with both the Flu and the Covid at once! Lets hope and pray it doesnt get too bad and out of hand!

have now had 3 anti covids and one flue jab ......so am following gov advice ...we can only do what is required of us as we protect ourselves ...our family ...and each other as human beings.....but am concerned that doctors ie gps are only working half a week on average .....and still doing telephone call or online meetings ..cappy
