Here in the UK anyone over 50, plus vulnerable of any age, will be invited to have the third jab, get mine on the 29/10, lots of people are refusing to have it saying it has a chip in it which will monitor your movements, your cell/mobile phone already does that; can't wait to get back to rock n roll that should keep it busy!

I have had an email from the NHS to say i can walk in to the centre in Newport, but my medical centre says to wait till i,m notified, and will get the flu jab at the same time.In todays news, in the schools the covid is rising heavily, but in us oldies its flattened right out. Apparently we are the highest figure for covid in Europe right now, but Europe still has restrictions, kt

I had a letter today from the NHS telling me that as a vulnerable person I no longer need to shield. I am still very careful about where I go and will not go into a shop if the car park is busy. Still get deliveries and occasional trip to Aldi but only after 8 at night.

Responding to the second part of the topic heading, I wonder how Lord Prescot our ex Deputy Prime Minister is keeping. One never hears much about him these days. He must be an 'oldie' in his eighties now. Didn't he do well for himself?.
    I wish him well.

    Regards from
    Fouro.

Like most politicians who all do well for themselves Fouro,. However they are judged by what they do for their country and I think the jury is still out on that one. JS.

I was looking forward to a middy of beer tomorrow, it's been six weeks or more, now they say you can only go in into places if you have two vaccinations, bugger, we have two weeks more before we get our second , and not our fault, they stole our vacs for bloody Sydney.
