I warched the game last night, England are good team not a great team.
Kane is reportedly the best striker in the World, he has been Awol for most of the tournament.
As for Sterling he is transferring to UK Olympic diving team.
The young lads that missed the penalties are being socially abused on Social Media, sad really, they don't deserve it.

Vic's quote ;"As for Sterling he is transferring to UK Olympic diving team."

Ah yes Vic.I see what you mean about Raheem(Sterling). He certainly ducks and dives ! I did though think that he,and other good players looked exhausted by halfway through the second half. The Italians were relentless.

These overpaid prima donnas are a waste of space.

I can remember when Real Footballers had jobs as well as playing football
Nat Loftouse of Bolton Wanderers, worked down the Pit at Moseley Common Colliery as well as playing for the team,
    Wages then £8 a week for a lose, £10 for a draw and £12 for a win/

If I was a manager, it would be .........No Win .No Fee,

They are paid to Win , Not paid to Loose,

Nothing to be gutted about John, England best team in the first half, Italy best team in the second half, E.T. Could have gone either way, Italy scored one more penalty than England, Only thing i cant get my head around is why young lad like Saka took that penalty when Raheen Serling, and Jack Grealish were on the touch line. Still we made the final and should be very proud to be English and i am Regards Terry.

    hi capt kong #50
good evening, i have to agree with that statement especially with the likes of tom finney whilst playing for preston northend worked in his trade as a plumber, and he and nat lofthouse as well as most players had a trade or job take billy wright played for liverpool and capped i believe over 370 times for england, ended his career labouring for a old friend of mine, and he himself being a ( ex everton player. ) what a come down.

    Hi everyone,
Bobby Brown was Glasgow Rangers regular goalkeeper during the 1940's and 1950's. He shared playing for Rangers being a schoolmaster. He was a schoolmaster at my local school.
He was also the Scottish International football team manager when Scotland went to play England at Wembley in 1967. This game was the world champions first match since winning the world cup in 1966.
Scotland beat the world champs 3 goals to 2.

    Regards from
    Fouro.

As I anticipated, apart from captain Kong, no response from the Sassenachs.

Fouro, England failed to beat two teams in the Euro's Italy and Scotland.
As to the game you are referring to, II remember a photograph of Slim Jim (Jim Baxter) sitting on the ball inviting an English player to take it from him during the match.
