Brian's Post re Stadium Tragedies....Very Sad. Happened again and again ,didn't it? At Hillsborough(1989),Heysel Brussels (1985),Bradford City (1985),Ibrox (Glasgow Rangers (1971)).
Lest we forget. Those supporters loved the game ...and they never came home.
Like Captain Kong, i have never had much interest in soccer, but was in Capetown or Durban in 1966 with a T.V. on board so the whole crew watched the game and of course vast quantities of alcohol were consumed and we all enjoyed it.
So last night watched the game so now seen 2 games in 55 years and it's enough for me.
Only game i became very interested in was Aussie rules and after about 5 years of not really understanding the game i became a true fan, and saw many games at Waverley and the M.C.G.
I really miss it, and folllowed Hawthorn although they have slumped badly over the years.
And for you people in N.S.W. it's far better than rugby.
UEFA are looing at fining the FA for the English fans behaviour last night.
1) The fines if given will be for disrespecting the Danish Anthem (booing by English fans).
2) Shining the laser on Scmichael on his face prior to the penalty kick, although he has not complained.

#16. Only ever watched 1 game and have been out here 30 years . Only went because someone gave me free tickets. Didn’t understand it then and still don’t. Cheers JS.
