    Question Heat resistance insulation concept

My friend have an old Patrol torpedo boat and our ship came at very high temperature at sunny weather. We are looking for solution as similar like roof insulation but not any idea about this concept. I have done research on most of FAQ about home insulation but can we apply the same concept at our boat's roof? Any suggestions?

#1 What is the boat made from? Wood , GRP or metal construction? What colour is the hull , deck and Cabin top and interior? The lighter the paint colour the cooler the interior will be. How good is the insulation in and around the engine compartment?
Check out this website you may find an answer there.
    Hope this helps.

Get really green and woke, cover the deck head with solar panels. Come to Queensland and government will probably supply for free. Cost is covered by increasing electricity cost to apartment dwellers and renters who cannot fit solar.
