As for President elect Biden: He spent 36 years as a senator in the US senate the upper house. Including Chairman of the Judiciary Committee for eight years and four years on the foreign relations committee, plus as vice-president for two terms. I'm not saying he wouldn't consider Obama's opinions. But with that amount of government experience I don't think he's going to be anybody's lapdog.

Rodders #63, it is my hope as well that Biden be his own man.
Nothing would be worse than for Biden to attempt to follow concepts from maybe 12 years ago that may no longer be relavent.

But I do have concerns that as his health and age may not be the best he may only serve one term, but time will tell.

Can he draw together such a divided nation, again only time will tell.
But I think there will still be a number of Trump supporters who will hope he returns, if allowed.

Trump is 74, Biden is 77. Three years makes Trump young and Biden old?

Trumps weight under BMI rules makes him obese. Biden is not.

Just look at the faces of the two of them and the fat under Trump's chin. moving down, check out Trump's waistline and gut against Bidens's.

Spin the pair around and check Trump's fat ass against Biden.

Now tell me who looks the healthiest.

Biden has released his doctors report on his physical and there were no signs of abnormalities.

Trump refuses to release his medical reports...just states he is a couple of pounds over weight...a couple?

A native American witch doctor would diagnose Trump as suffering from a forked tongue.

Biden's some times hesitancy of speech is caused by the remnants of a childhood stuttering problem. I have the same problem and for me public speaking is impossible made worse by the sight of a microphone. Like John S., mine was caused by the effects of the war. At least I think it was

I think all that has been said/meant is that Mr Biden's priorities will be overwhelmingly domestic -
namely fixing America's economy and the Covid crisis. Relations with the UK - including a possible
free trade deal - will not be a top priority.

Besides that our PM, promised all was oven ready before the election and will not impress Biden if
he breaks International laws.

Unfortunately like so many all we have here in Oz is the media to 'enlighten' us about what is occurring in USA.

I hope Biden does well, though I do not like Democrats as in my opinion they look very much like a socialistic party, I could well be wrong but that is what I feel.

As to Biden, are you happy with him, or just pleased Donald will exit stage left?

No one can take any politicians word for what he will do in the future, these big trade agreements mean that if your country doesn't sign on the dotted line you miss out. We have just signed a $30 Trillion trade trade deal with all the South East Asian countries except India, this included China, who, will have to follow the rules which mean trading with Aus, the fact that we have a bunch of idiots in power means nothing, they either do it or get chucked out, and i can't see our farmers putting up with that.
