A driver's car for those who enjoy driving, had all mine because of my job, getting calls at anytime of day, most favourite time seemed to be twixt 0200 -0300 hours to get to a ship in trouble, I knew my Scooby would start first time, get me there quickly and being four wheel drive get me there in any type of weather. Other cars such as Rovers, Austins, Fords, etc were more luxurious, but were lazy barstewards, as used to see them lining the motorways yawning with their bonnets open.

How many of us years ago used to have a can of WD40 in he car for damp mornings, lift the distributor cap, WD40 spray and usually start, even on occasions put the whole cap in the oven for a few moments, and hope it would start then. Vacuum wiper blades slowing down going up hill, thrashing its guts out going downhill, we are all spoilt today, apart from traffic jams, kt

I still always have a Can of WD40 at hand Keith , just in case. It can be used for so many other things too.

Well Victoria, our Vernon no longer drinks, only ginger beer.
But we have heard he likes a squirt of it before he plays with his balls when golfing.

Well back on Cars again Lads!
My trusted Volkswagen 118 kw has just given in and needs a new Motor but at the price they want not worth it as its a 2010 Model, nice Car but no way Hosay! So i got rid of it two days ago and went and bought a Brand New 2020 Mazda Pure 2 Automatic, 1.5 Sky Active Engine 6 Speed and Sports Mode with quite a few extras on it.
Eternal Blue in Colour and looks good.
Drives vert well for a smaller Car (not that small in fact got more room than i had in the Golf)
$25000 Cash sale all done and dusted!
So hope this more than likely will be my last Car now after having a heck of a Lot!
Lovely to Dive a Brand New one though, and that new Smell , just love it! LOL

Well Vernon here I am with my 2004 Land Rover series 2 Classic.
Diesel and runs very well, costs a bit for maintenance but motoring is never cheap.
Bought it for longevity as from all Land Rovers ever built since the first in 1948 it is estimated some 75% are still on the road somewhere in the world.

Very good on tyres, get about 105,000 klms from a set.

Now here is a point for you top consider.
Most manufactures say run at 32 psi, but try at 34 and rotate the wheels every 10,000 and you will get far better mileage form them.
32 is the manufacturers as at 32 psi they will not last so long.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Good value there then John, and you get a spare tyre !!, seems all cars now do not carry a spare tyre, as i have just found out with my Lexus, just an emergency pump, but at least i have run flats fitted, looks like a nice car Doc, you are thinking same as me, probably my last car, i don't change cars every 5 minutes, just got rid of my old Subaru, had it 20 years, kt
