Our Premier in N.S.W has just discovered her health minister has ducked out and gone on holiday, despite a ban on anyone doing so, she has recalled him, maybe this is why.
    Just released.
The Australian Border Force can confirm that the Sydney Port Authority contacted the A.B.F.in the early hours of the 19th March, expressing concern in relation to the health of the passengers on the Ruby Princess, [Still at sea} The A.B.F. officer made internal inquiries and subsequently advised the Port Authority's that the vessel had been cleared by N.S.W Health. The A.B.F. officer did not seek to share or influence any view or decision taken by Sydney Ports, this is not the A.B.F's role. The A.B.F. completed it's immigration and Customs clearance functions.
So despite the Premier using the police commissioner to try for a whitewash, it is obvious that the Health Minister and his senior Health Dr
are in deep dodo. Especially as there is a looming class action against the Ruby Princess, who apparently did everything right.

Yes Des, just read an article put out by Carnival about the Ruby Princess.
According to them they notified the port authority there were many self isolating on board.
But the local health authority allowed them off without any checks at all.
As you ay the health department has a lot to answer for here.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

#12. Des why is it that these people cannot accept responsibility for their bad decisions and will cost the taxpayers millions in claiming their innocence when they know they are not. Even the seasoned criminal has learned to say its a fair cop and accept the consequences . We have just had one of our own well known sportsman break the quarantine limits here in WA , if he thinks that he is different than anyone else., I certainly hope he is very disappointed in the outcome. Last I heard John is that Socialism is for the rich and Capitalism for the poor. There’s something to that.

Without discussing politics which is taboo , there is no difference, only a name title. Communism which the western world appears so scary of , as brings back recollections of the Russian Revolution. The biggest thing wrong with communism is that they make their own rules and the first one is they make their own position invulnerable and are there for life. Just another Dictatorship. JS.

My Apologies for a mistake in my post, I took it from my Comp which I should have checked, lot of false news on there. It wasn't the Health minister who ducked away, it was the ARTS Minister who had gone to his holiday hideaway with his young boyfriend, the Premier said she will not sack him. The reason, she needs his support to stay on as Premier after all the fiasco.

Well can say that checks on the motorway between Newcastle and Coffs Harbour NSW was not to be seen. Did the round trip on Thursday (for medical reasons) after checking that I could from the state members office. Was a bloody good drive and the only passenger car I encountered was twenty K's out of Coffs. Quite a few on the return trip though. Mind you did leave at 0400 so probably to early for most. Just as an aside? Why is there no reports on the virus within South Africa and Russia as when I checked last on the world status they where way down the list. Same as here in Oz we have low death rate of 51 last I heard with 15 of them from the Ruby Princess. As much as I do not like being told what to do by some jumped up idiot I am conforming as it seems to be working but do think that this will fall apart soon simply because there will be those who will overstep their new found powers as always happens.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

But isn't it nice to hear that Health workers and shop assistants are the new Heroes, not bloody overpaid footballers or Rugby league players.
My wife and I were worried about all the old people, then realized that was us, and made sure that our kids are OK, they are both coming up to sixty.

South Africa Les, just this morning I was speaking with a guy in Cape Town, computer ISP, and he told me it was not too bad but still no date for end of lock down.

Queensland have put a $5000 fine on any one who spits or coughs at a medical or emergency worker, assault theme and get 5 years inside.
Why would any one wan to do such a thing to some one who may save your life?
