I saw on BBC TV last night, THE FORTUNES OF WAR pub near Circular Quay has closed due to the Virus,
I drank in there in 1953 and again last year.

Bloody Corona virus, I am going to end up divorced...……….The missis went to her sisters last night with my daughter and her sisters daughter just the 4 of them they drank a few more glasses of wine than normal, I was half asleep by midnight when she fell in had a few beers on my own I was in my boxer shorts and Rab Nesbitt string vest on the sofa one eye closed, As she locked the door I heard did you enjoy your night alone sailor yea fine hun I am ready for a good nights kip myself. OHHH There is no hurry she said as she walked out the bathroom dressed like bloody Batman the Michelin man variety she threw a leopard skin blanket on top of me now sailor what about some little fun and games. W.T.F. ERRRRRRRRR Hide and seek, I spy, Something beginning with, I got up this morning with aches and pains in places I never new I had. The sooner the Caradoc Pub opens the better get back to creeping into bed.

They have limited the amount of grog one can purchase here in NSW. What idiot thought of this idiotic idea. Now there is panic buying of slabs of beer, spirits and wine going on. So what is going to happen is? Having so much grog on tap it makes a dedicated drinker see how quick they can deplete the stock. So will be fronting up each and every day to keep their stock up to scratch. End result is going to be more drinking going on than before. Or the other alternative the old man beating the sheriff for spending all the dosh on useless stuff like food and crap paper and nothing on grog.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

Off-licences have been added to the list of 'essential' retailers now here.
UK pubs and breweries push to be allowed takeaway sales also. The addition
of off-licences to the list of essential businesses, announced on Wednesday
morning, was hailed as welcome news for many people stuck at home, with
pubs and restaurants shut down and supermarkets running low on supplies
    of beer and wine.

Added. Thieves smashed their way into a supermarket and swiped booze.

Raiders forced open glass doors to the Aldi store in Priory Road, Dudley, at
around 2am on Thursday, March 26.

    Chris, well done.

Les mate so far we are not on rationing yet, we have about three weeks supply in the house and early next week will increase that to five.
Latest bit from 'those who know' is that if you are on isolation or have lost your job you should stay away from the grog as it will cause you depression!!!!!!!!!
I tell you mate, you would not read about.
