I see one of Holland America ships has been allowed into Cambodia after being banned from a number of ports.
But then again most of Cambodia is owned by the Chinese.

According a spokes man for WHO they consider the virus to have peaked and expect o see it gone by April, but failed to say which April!!

One Doc here has stated that the wearing of masks is pointless as the virus is only transmitted by touch.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Think if I was on it and having an outside cabin I would be making sure I only relied on outside air in the cabin for sure. See I do admit to not being right and not afraid to admit it.
I gave your post a like Les, I wasn't thinking luxury cruise liner I was more on the lines of an old rust bucket something like what we spent months in and not one complaint {WHY } Because know one gave a toss anyway. Terry

Just taking a backward step over this virus and what is the percentage of people affected compared to the whole country or in fact the whole world. It would be a small percentage after all would it not so why the heck is there so much panic. Personally think that the reason a virus gets so much attention is simply because we now live in a clinic clean world. Here in Oz most people live in air conditioning most of their lives, House, Car, Work and shopping. Couple that up with all the medication that they rush to take when they get a tickle in the throat it is no wonder that mother nature takes a look and says I am going to throw you another strain of virus LOL. Wonder how many Chinese paddy workers have come down with said virus?
That's the way the mop flops.

Apparently the US military are preparing for a pandemic as first London case is confirmed.

The US military is reported to be preparing for a coronavirus pandemic with army bosses believing this could be a reality.

Better be safe than sorry ?

One further problem, and I agree with Les, is that the Chinese gov do not know exactly how many there are in China.
They are aware of the major cities and provinces, but up in the far north of the country it is so remote there is some doubt as to how many officials get info from them that is up to date.

But as Les said some maybe 1500 dead out of about 8 billion on the planet, and a quarter of them in China, hardly scratches the surface.

    Hi Les.
We have such crap News services don't know who to believe. On TV the other day they said that there is no internal air conditioning going into any of the cabins, each cabin has it's own air intake, all well and good if you confined there before the virus, but they weren't prior to getting affected.
But tell you what, after breathing pure thick smoke for six weeks and watching some of the older poor buggers here trying to breath, I think I might have preferred to be on one of those cruises. and I wouldn't be bloody whingeing.

Some 200 Australian are to be brought back home today and put into quarantine for a further two weeks.

Many complain that the Oz gov should have done this sooner, maybe, but the ship is under control of Japan and in a Japanese harbor.
In that country they make the rules and every one else must abide by them.

30 January - The World Health Organisation declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern over the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) outbreak. It reported that the virus had spread to 18 countries, and that human to human transmission had occurred in four - Germany, Japan, Vietnam and the US. It said the declaration was "not because of what is happening in China, but because of what is happening in other countries. Our greatest concern is for the virus to spread to countries with weaker health systems that are ill prepared to deal with it.

Japan should abide by International rules.
