    Default A seasonal thing

I know us down here in the colonies are some 9 hours ahead of you at this time of year, and we do have some funny traditions such as Christmas in July, well it is winter here then.

But until today I was not aware that not only are we ahead in hours but also in but also in celebrations.
In a small shopping center today and into one of the $2 shops and there they were.

Christmas cards, decorations for Christmas trees but wait there is more.
In the corner a small music player and what was it playing, 'Little drummer boy"

I know the shop is run by some from Asia but they do sell calendars which will show them that there is still almost four months to go.

    Wonder when Easter will be?
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Life is too short to blend in.

Quite normal here to both think
and start doing in advance, the
weeks soon pass and better be
prepared than leave all to the
    last minute.

Our local Supermarkets sell hot cross buns all year round, We as kids made the hot cross buns in the shops the start of the Easter celebrations, My grandmother would bake her own but only at Easter they where seen as a treat, Have things changed for the better not for me they haven't. Terry.
