The impact of global warming will increase in the coming years, but the degree of change will vary greatly, depending on where you live and depending on how rapidly nations around the world reduce greenhouse emissions. No matter where you live, though, the unchecked impacts of climate change are potentially catastrophic in the long-term.

    Keith ,
you are always full of gloom and doom,
    Do you sleep at night?
I travel the world every year for the last 68 years, from the Arctic to the Antarctic and most of the Pacific Islands, Off again in six weeks , I haven't noticed anything different in the climate. We have our hot spells and cold spells we have storms and calm days , but nothing to lose sleep over. The seasons come and go on time
I agree there is a lot of dirt and polution and certain countries should clean up their act, and stop throwing plastcs into the sea,
But earth has been changing since day one billions of years ago.
    Cheers
    Brian

I am not full of gloom and doom at all, I just do not believe
that the deniers are correct, I do hope they are but, feel it
would be best to take any actions necessary now rather than
if or when it becomes to late.

Not everything can be taken with a pinch of salt and all
generations look to ensuring future generations are safe
and not in the future looking back and blaming the odd
    denier or two from now.

    Simples!

    Keith.

Well Keith, you certainly give the impression that you know it all.
Answer me these questions, if you can.
Why is everything Green so expensive?
Why is natural gas now becoming outlawed?
The materials to make the magnets in wind turbines, is flushed from the earth with deadly chemicals and classified as green.
Wood pellets for use in power generation are classified as green, but it takes a new tree sixty years to recapture the Co2 from the originally Feld tree.
Turbine blades are made from non recyclable material and at the end of their life/replacement they go to landfill.
There are many more scenarios where green is supposed to be good but isn't

I do not believe that I know it all, just that continuing on the same path is not the best route.

Now not that i or i guess others here in Aus are complaining however seems the Weather goes from one extreme to the next.
From the start of Yesterday Morning it became quite chilly here Top of only 20 which is low for this time of Year (Lovely though) with the cool came the RAIN! Oh at last good heavy stuff all day ,and it is still coming down This Morning.
The Skies are actually very dark with us having to have the lights on inside, and the long term forecast for much of the Eastern States is a lot of good falls to come over the coming Week.
In fact they say that it will more than likely be the Heaviest we have had here in many Years, with some 240 mm in places that of course will cause Flash Flooding etc.
But hopefully it will also help a lot to top up the Dams which have dropped t low levels ,putting us on Water Restrctions.
But as said no complaints from this end . All water Welcome!
The poor Firies will be dancing with joy! Yes many of the Big Fires here will at last be put to an end with luck!
    Cheers

Not sure about the rest of the nation, but weather here here in Victoria has been the oddest for many a year.
Since September we have had a few warm days each month but most of the time temperatures have been below average.
February is normally a very hot month, often 40 or above but not this year, struggling to get above 20 or so.

As to the ice, in Norway last year and the locals told me nothing has changed, usual ice and snow patterns.
Last winter here scientists in NZ said the Southern ice shelf was wider, deeper and bigger than ever recorded.

Yes something may be occurring but I do not think it is man made, rather a natural event which many are using to their own ends.

As rightly said so many so called 'Green' objects are anything but, they sue it to suit their own ends.

Report from Canberra via my local Labor MP, the test with Hydrogen cars is going well and the gov is expected to make comments on it after the May budget.
Many say this is the fuel of the future, not electric cars.

just my opinion, climate is not changing but weather patterns may be. I live south of the tropic of Capricorn, so my climate is sub-tropical, that hasn't changed.
