Re: Global Warming
From what has ben said so far at the UN conference little will change.
In Poland they are attempting to come to an agreement on the Paris agreement and as Poland has indicated it has no intention of stopping the use of coal.
Similar in Japan, China, India, South Korea and to some extent USA.
Nations will continue to do what is best for their economies and if that means continuing with coal I think they will do so.

Re: Global Warming
As an aside, scientist have been using drones to map the Antarctic region, and have discovered pyramids, this suggests an ancient civilization once lived there.
When it froze over did the population move northwards?

There is oil and gas under the ice and ground in the Antarctic. which suggests it was once a rain forest and tropical.

Re: Global Warming
Climate change as often said on here Brian is nothing new it is continuous and a natural function of the world we live in. It’s biggest drawback is the worlds population is many many times in excess of what it was in the past. Anyhow I still beleive Santa Claus lives at the North Pole it’s as good a theory that some come out with. Cheers JS

Re: Global Warming
You can put the whole climate change argument to one side I just think we should clear up after ourselves whether it be the chimney on a power station all that damn b**** they keep using the green outside my house as a toilet her owner should pick up after her so I think if we were all tidy and everything we did no matter what nation and we use our resources sensibly the world would be a better place

#77... I heard he had got a hybrid Hyundai and if he runs out of electric power , Rudolph gives him a prod with his antler to get him started. What little snow left has turned to ice and he uses for his gin and tonic. Probably Robs grouse about the animals dirtying the greens, is probably Rudolph , and if Santa hears him he will inform the vegans. Believe there used to be one on the star ship enterprise , easy to pick out they have pointy ears. Cheers JS
