If anyone saw the program last Sunday on BBC tv, The Mediterranean by Simon Reeves, it showed down in Southern Spain, an area of plastic greenhouses he described as a hundred square miles, they grow veg for most of Europe, and is manned by immigrants from Africa, they live in hovels by the roadside, and are charged rent for these hovels. The buyers from Europe, including us, have to drive past these hovels, and can see what they are like, but its cheap vegetables. And there in lies the truth i believe, the money being made from immigrants in the form of cheap labour at minimum wage means large profits for the few. that's why the EU will not stop its open borders, constant supply of cheap labour, kt

Well, as said Cappy, staying in large chain hotels/motels a lot recently, all manned by cheap European and African labour, spoke with some, who work a 16 hr day for minimum wage, and also pay a small amount for accommodation supplied. We always imported labour for produce production in our countryside, now its everywhere in the catering trade. Big hotels like Premier inn love it, frighten to death it will end when we leave, kt

An item in our news here today about some business man in UK who put up millions to support the BREXIT referendum.

Now being accused of obtaining the money from Russia, which the remainer's say is illegal so BREXIT must stop.

Well so much for democracy if it does, where the money came from is of little interest to those who want out and money is not the point here, the referendum and outcome of it is what is important.

Good luck to UK, yes I can understand why some of the French are concerned, border protection is something ALL govs are responsible for, protection of the people and sadly many of the govs within EU have failed on this matter.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

If it is proven to be true that the Brexit campaign or for that matter the Remain campaign had assisted funding from outside UK sources those involved should be dragged through the courts. If any are foreign nationals all their UK assets should be ceased and the monies pumped into the NHS. Also said foreign nationals should be deported.

you only had to look at the leave campaign to realise it was nonsense , immigration will never go away , we need migrant workers , but the vote was a free choice , no one had to vote , so respect democracy and accept the result . best of luck if you believe Facebook
