For my preference a Right Wing government is the only type that will keep law and order in check.
Tough PM are rare now, the last one in UK I recall was, lover her or hate her, Maggie.
Here in Oz John Howard made some tough calls on law, particularly on gun control.


There are two way you can become an Australian citizen, born here or by being naturalized which can be done after three years living here legally.


Five young members of families who were naturalized left Oz to go to fight with ISIS.
However they were captured and are now in a jail somewhere in the middle East.
Today our government took an unprecedented step in cancelling their Australian citizen ship, they will never be allowed to return here.

But of course if released from jail they may well look for some other soft country who will take them in.


Be careful, very careful who you let into your country.

It's already happening here. Human rights groups are attempting to stop two captured members of the infamous " Beatles" group of terrorists, held in a Kurdish prison, from being put on trial in the USA, where they could face the death penalty. They have been interviewed on t.v. where they claim innocence and despite what our government says to the contrary, they claim their British citizenship has not been revoked and they want to return to the U.K. where if put on trial and Found guilty they would enjoy a life of luxury in a high security jail, be free to practice and spread their radical views and then be freed after serving half of whatever sentence had been imposed on them.
WE DON'T WANT THEM BACK.
Let them rot in a Kurdish jail or send them to the States, put them on trial in a state that has the death penalty and so rid the world of their scum.

Not a squeak out of the PC lawyers, yet, but I do not think in this case any will attempt to go against the gov.

Too many people agree with the concept of revoking citizenship in such instances.

Slight drift but here the news is filed with illegal immigrants being arrested and deported while the family claim they did nothing wrong...

Err, excuse me if you're in a country illegally you did wrong! You broke the (Immigration) law!

We paid a not insignicant sum of money to get my US citizenship legally but my wife still doesn't get why I get mad at these so called news stories.

I kind of understand the kids who are here illegally due to their parents' actions but that doesn't mean its right.

Give anyone a fair hearing but also respect those who did it the legal way.

if they were told the whole family from grandad to last born would be deported the elders of the family would keep them in check? the families know were the young ones are going you need money to travel others know what /were the people are doing if hate is being preached then pull the place down we take to much notice of human rights? have a look at military grave yards ask them about human rights theirs were taken away from them? jp

Over recent months here in some Melbourne suburbs there have been gangs of African birth, here legally with family members, who have been rampaging through the suburbs.
House break ins while the owners slept, car jackings, attacks on Police when they have come to investigate.


But according to our socialist extreme left wing premier no such gangs exist.

we have even had vigilanty groups roaming the streets to keep these rat bags away, but so far no arrest.
Our premier does not think punishment will help these youths?????????????????????????
