Default hand 'em over or not

I have just listened to BBC Radio 4 , condemning the home secretary for telling the USA that as a nation we will not oppose the Kurds handing over the now stateless pair of murderers , and we will let the USA have our evidence , Even though they may put these men to death after a fair trial and a guilty verdict . I believe in do on to others as you do yourself , so me I would behead them in Time Square , we are too soft

I listened to Chakrabati, condemning the Home Secretary for allowing the Yanks to get hold of them. They gave up rights when they joined the jihadis and murdered innocent people, hanging is to good for them.
One of the mother's is using one of the left wing rabble of liberal lawyers on a no win no fee to challenge the Home Secretaries decision.

I like the idea, hand em over, the Yanks don't ponce about in these matters, only when we gave them the hook preacher, cannot remember his name, thats when we got justice . I think he's still locked up and will be for a very long time, kt

I have no problem with such decisions.
Send them to a country where they will get justice, not a slap on the wrist.

Too many in the west are getting soft when it comes to such matters, do the crime, then do the time.

Thus far, the sentiments expressed on this thread are entirely understandable, some might say commendable, however if, as suggested, we yield to base, vengeful, desires to exact savage retribution then, surely, we betray the very essence of our own 'civilised' existence and by so doing render ourselves little better than these two murderous b----ards for whom we have such contempt.

I have no objection to their being placed into the custody of U.S. Authorities, brought to justice and afforded a 'fair' trial. If found guilty and sentenced to pay the ultimate price then let us hope our American cousins maintain a certain dignity and conduct their 'óffing' as soon as possible and with a minimum of fuss. Whilst a 'show-trial' or public execution might satisfy our need to avenge, I fear the resulting publicity woud risk bestowing martyrdom upon two pieces of sub-human excreta.

To stop the martyrdom I think they would just have to disappear.
Give they the same trial and the same mercy that they showed others.
I think that the hanging for treason is still law in Uk.
Where did the two go, Oops sorry no idea.

Roger, to some degree I can agree with your sentiments.
Civilized society should be bale to do better than stoop to the low levels of such murderers.

But if we are to live by the same degree as they do then the saying,
'An eye for an eye', has much good meaning.
