Default s.s. Dalmore built in Glasgow 1907

Could any of the members point me in the correct direction to research the voyage of 'Dalmore' leaving Birkenhead on 02/04/1908 and sailing to Moji, Japan, thence to Newcastle, NSW, Australia where the ship arrived on 20/10/1908. Following 19 years of searching I have just discovered that my father, aged 15, was a crew member. I would also be pleased to find out more about the ship. After the 'Dalmore' took on a load of coal the sailed from Newcastle to Singapore. I would also like to research the crew list for the outward voyage from Newcastle. thanks so much, Julie Werner

Julie, if you go to the state library in Sydney you will find a section with old newspapers.
Somewhere in there you will find the daily ship movements, it may gave you some indication of where the ship came from, last port of call, and where it will go to next.
Dates of arrival and departure as well included.
It will also indicate the shore side company responsible for the ship, if that still exists it may have also some records that may help.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Could you please give any more information including date of birth / death. Place of birth / death.

The more information the better also, can you confirm that his middle name is spelt correctly. (Relf)
