We get similar stupid progs over here in Oz.
Such as the Voice, or a replay of a number of has been singers acting as the judges.
Australia has got talent,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,you must be joking.
And a heap of other rubbish.
But the worst part, they all began life in UK. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Change Your Tune
We have a celebrity culture , 10 minutes of fame and they never have to work again because they are Celebrity , and famous . look at the figures 200,000 contestents and only a handful ever appear on the TV in X-Factor

Re: Change Your Tune
The only winners are the TV ratings and advertising budgets.
Maybe the manages if they get some recognition and maybe do a few shows elsewhere, apart from that zilch.

Re: Change Your Tune
Seems that the series will indeed continue to run to its natural conclusion, despite receiving a slew of negative reviews from the public on launch night.

Terry mate, I know how you feel but there are millions who like that kind of crap.
Some of those shows rate so well here in Oz they keep brining them back.
But thankfully we do not originate them, most start life in UK or USA.

Re: Change Your Tune
I have Virginmedia 200 channels ,and spend more time watching Discovery , National Geographic , and a lot of the alternate channels than BBC 1 and 2 or ITV , Celebrity TV is sickly

Re: Change Your Tune
I sometimes wonder how the presenters get the job I wonder what they have to say at their interview . The ones I see pretending game shows don't ever strike me as being normal and off this planet

Rob, if yours ae like ours then I must agree, they are obviously man made in a lab somewhere as normal people do not act in that manner.
We have Netflix and that at least shows shows that ae worth watching and do some docos as well.
