Butchers cabin

I was in the Paparoa in 1967, and they had already stopped carrying Butchers following the widespread availabilty of pre-packed boxed meat. I don't remember any passenger accommodation at all. The funnel was buff, but later on, NZSC dropped the buff funnel and all the ships were given the Federal funnel. Perhaps they thought it was more distinctive. I liked it better.

On the voyage I did on her there were some passengers, maybe 6 or so.
One of the stewards looked after them and all meals they had in their accommodation, but that was in 64so by 67 she could well have changed.
