Re: Britain's Slave Trade.
Des all Senior Officers in the military used to have them , were called batmen, not to be confused with Batman and Robin. Maybe they still do. Cheers JS

Very few teams do well here in Oz, wickets do not suit.
Only team that did was WI back in the late 80's early 90's.
Happy daze John in Oz.

Hi Fouro.
There were cases of slavery in the UK only recently
Were not a load of so called "travelers" just jailed
for keeping and working what were classed as slaves.

Re: Britain's Slave Trade.
Some 40 years ago I was enslaved by a female gangmaster. Forced into not only buying a fancy suit but also to wear it, entered a building where alcohol was only served one day a week and then it was only watered down wine, repeat commands such as "obey", " honour" to this gangmaster and then have to hand over large portions of my hard earned wages to said gangmaster. Over the years two more junior gangmasters appeared who demanded that they needed even more of my wages, required me to bi-annually build intricate plastic items called "Barbie cars", attend various places such as museums, concert halls, theatres etc.
All this is still going on to this day so am I a masochist? No I love enslavement or MARRIAGE as it is commonly called.

p.s. only able to write this as the gangmaster is out with one junior gangmaster buying enough food to feed a small army on the 25th.

A merry Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous new year to all on site, your family and friends.
