The monarch has changed with the times and not to its advantage. The opening of the doors to the privacy of their lives opened the door for every cheap Shylock of a reporter. Mystery was part of the charm of royalty. As regards the US I think most people there wanted change and Trump is not needful of making promises to big industry for financing him like the previous presidents so goes in with the option of having no favours to pay back. The Russian fiasco if you beleive that he would do anything detrimental to his own country you will believe anything. He is probably the biggest patriot that has ever sat in that chair. He has broken the ring of self made royalty of the states at least and proved anyone can be a politician. Everyone can't be monarchy however and that gets up people's noses just pure jealousy. God save the Queen and when she goes God save the King. They are the backbone of the country, not people like Bliar and his kind who would aspire to be a President of a state of Europe. Him and people of his ilk are the danger within. JWS.

The Queen has been a role model for all royalty and is admired the world over. The lesser royals should learn and follow the example she has set.
Not all monarchy is good monarchy King Edward V111 shared a stage many times with Hitler giving the Nazi salute to the crowds below. The Americans refused to let him share secret information on the war effort believing he and Bessie Wallis Simpson were German spies.

If you lose the Royal Family you will lose the Commonwealth. Without Royalty the uk would lose its attraction as such. We would all be losers and after a time everyone would live to regret it. I for one would vote for a republic the lesser of two evils than taken any orders requests or anything else from a small state of Europe as it would go back to being part of. JWS.

BENFITS ARE COSTING MORE THAN £220,000,000,000, 2015 Figures/

So get the Bums working, that would be a good Service for the Tax Payers.

It's no wonder cappy and kong are annoyed with the unemployed when they have these stupid figures washing around in their brains. The actual unemployed benefit figure for that year was £2.4 billion not much difference from £220 billion. The OAP which both cappy and Kong are recipients of came in at £92.1 billion, that is where the money is going.

For once we are all in agreement , but what jobs could Prince Edward and the two ugly sisters do ?
Nothing that would get their hands dirty , nothing that would require brain power. Must be something they could do.

Louis the British tax payer has a choice whether he pays tax, he can be self employed on 20%,he can be on PAYE, he can even not pay tax by being on benefits, but the poor old British Tax payer,or benefit receiver has no choice when it comes to the BBC ,its £147 per year whether you like it or not, you will be hounded to pay this fee to keep there employers in the lap of luxury, spouting a load of one sided News. The British Tax payers are paying to keep the top public service workers i.e. NHS ,Councillors, they should reduce the earnings of these big earners ,and give it to the people at the bottom Nurses Dustman etc.
