Baltic Triangle Liverpool.
I suppose those that lived in the old Sailors Home, sailed out of the Southend or paid off or visited Cornhill will remember this area most probably as a run down place of warehouses and mills etc.Who would ever thought that it would become an area much sought after to live in.Some most probably had a pint in the Baltic Fleet.
Regards.

Re: Baltic Triangle Liverpool.
Just been reading this article. Who ever wrote it has obviously never been to West Kirby and seen the sun set.
There’s nowhere better to enjoy it than West Kirby, where you also get to watch the sun setting over the Welsh mountains, which rise steeply on the other side of the Dee and soak up the worst of the westerly weather.”
The sun sets over Liverpool bay not the Welsh Mountains. Closest the sun gets to setting over the Welsh mountains may be the Point of Ayr in January. Owning a Flat on the Prom at Hoylake one of the reasons I bought it was to watch the sunsets.
