#19, John as you know immorality has been here since time began and each century has brought forth same old. My parents protected me and I did likewise and my grandchildren the same. Such pleasure to be gained by their innocence and wonder in all things new. That's all any decent family can do. How did we get from Britannia to this....:p

On these two pics are - Royal Marine Band ( no non-Band were on board) on the menu. Working up in the bridge area I used to enjoy hearing the practice up in the foc'sle en route to Mombasa from Southampton. and - The flag on the mainmast was the flag of Vice Admiral Lambe signifying he was aboard. The Shaw Savill House Flag (I think it is) on the bow was at half mast for King George VI.
