John #144 Trump has agreed to honor the arrangements made with Obama re refugees in off shore camps outside Oz. He is not happy as he considers it a dumb deal.
However all those refugees, about 1200, will be subjected to extreme vetting.
Trump so far is the only world leader, apart from J. Howard here in Oz in the 90's, who has shown the balls when it comes to immigration. Why would any sane nation take in people it knows nothing about?
But then again first find a sane nation may be the answer.
John I would imagine that political talk when discussing political business is a matter of horse trading which Trump is well up with. Our erstwhile leader Turncoat will have to take a short course in such and use it. America has troops based on Australian soil and also US ships berth here for repairs and RNR. Maybe this may also be considered a bum deal as regards Australian standards. We are not reliant on American handouts, we may be as regards a war footing, but who says we are going to be fighting on the American side, times and needs change, this time in the next century I would imagine the position of world leading countries will be totally different. Turncoat is going to have to get off his bum and start working for a living, he can start by taking a leaf out of Trumps book, he might get more respect from Trump himself, as well as his own people. When are people going to come down off their high horses regarding Trump's immigration policy.
He has permanently banned Syrian refugees from going to the USA (as far as I am aware).
He has put a 90 day ban on person's from 7 countries, identified by Obama, his predecessor
The ban on Moos lims from those countries is not permanent as far as I am aware.
His immigration "ban" cannot be compared to, say, the ban on smoking in public places which required a law to be passed in Parliament in order for it to be enforced. He signed an executive order imposing a 90 day ban to allow his homeland security department to review and if necessary, toughen up their visa granting arrangements for persons from those 7 countries.

I still cannot figure out why he is getting all this bad publicity.
He has Not caused any wars,
He has not Bombed any other Nation,
He has not yet had oral sex in the Oval Office in the White house.
He has not sent hundreds of young men to their deaths in far off lands.
Just What the hell is the Problem,
All the other presidents have done all that destroying the lives of Millions across the world, and not a peep out of anyone.
