You probably suffer from sleep abynia ( spelt wrong) had it for years haven't used the machine for months now as got fed up with it. Tired all day and all night. Try taking some liquour at night and tumble into bed legless. Got to die with something and if cant sleep its going to prolong your life, that's the way I look at it. Cheers JS

#10&12, Have coughed, spluttered & wheezed all through Christmas week till present with a chest infection. Two lots of antibiotics, combined now with steriods/tablets, 8 per day all at once first thing in morning. Doctor said would interfere with sleep! Averaging 3-4hrs..:(

Hi Louis.
I can't even take a panadole it knocks me right out. But one pill, Phenergan 10mg not on prescription and used for allergies sends me off for twelve hours at least, so much so that if and when, not often i take it I have a good sleep.

Ref to post #9 was so hard up had to go down to Middlesborough and go onto the Beechwood and see the master and get a rather large sub to pay off outstanding debts so joined the ship in debt already. People think that seamen had it easy, we were probably the most exploited work force in the world. It was my own fault if I had had the cover of a union some of the monies owing may have been recoverable, another reason why I cant understand peoples adversity to such. JS

Ah !! The mention of Black Pudding !! One of the delights of travelling throughout Australia is the " Big Aussie Breakfast " and they always seem to have a generous portion of Black Pudding. My wife thinks I am mad !! Regards Peter in NZ.

My wife loves both black and white pudding Peter. We were brought up on it in the NE England. My old man loved tripe as well. The one thing he couldn't eat, not even sit at the same table as people eating chicken. Think he must have had cat served up to him disguised as chicken, he would never talk about it. Mind he was out in India and Burma during the war. JS
